6/2021/3483/TPO T1-Oak Crown raise lower laterals on western side to a height of 6m so as to give a 3m clearance to the adjacent rear extension. Also, carry out a 15-20% crown thin to reduce the wind-sail and remove any deadwood. The tree is currently causing excessive shading to the property and detritus and dead branches are falling on to the roof of the extension. The works will be undertaken in accordance with BS3998:2010. TPO 842 (2018) Granted
6/2021/2842/TPO T1-Oak. Fell due to presence of Pseudoinonotus dryadeus at the root collar. Timber integrity tested with a IML Resi PD400, and decay extent tested with a Fakopp Arborsonic 3D Acoustic tomograph, which showed the decay extent at ground level to be 58%. Given the height and location of the tree the tree should be removed on Health and Safety grounds. An extensive crown reduction/pollard is not recommended in this case, as the tree will ultimately fail and removal at the soonest time is advised. A 5 Day Notice has also been submitted to the council for the removal of the tree. Withdrawn
